The safety and well-being of every child in our programs is our highest priority. We have clear policies and procedures in place to ensure a safe, structured, and positive environment for all participants.
No One-on-One Interactions
We maintain a strict “no one-on-one” policy between staff and participants.
- Staff are never alone with a child
- All interactions are visible and supervised
- This applies to both in-person and digital communication
Active Supervision & Staff Ratios
- We maintain consistent staff-to-participant ratios (generally around 10:1)
- Coaches work together to ensure all children are actively supervised at all times
- Activities are structured to ensure group visibility and shared oversight
Team-Based Coaching Approach
Our staff operate as a team to ensure:
- No coach is ever isolated with a child
- All interactions take place in open, observable environments
- Continuous communication between staff members
Youth Staff Supervision
For programs that include junior or teen coaches:
- All youth staff are supervised by experienced adult coaches
- They are never placed in independent supervisory roles
Transportation Policy
- Staff do not transport participants unless explicitly authorized
- Any approved transportation requires parental consent and group supervision
- One-on-one transportation is not permitted
A Safe, Positive Environment
We are committed to creating a space where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged. If you ever have questions about our safety policies, we are always happy to discuss them.
